【How to Use/Plesae Choose ①~② below】
【① Make a reservation】from the “Make a Reservation” menu above OR button below.
- All reservations are automatically approved. Please be sure to check the details of each support service and confirm that your consultation is appropriate before making a reservation. We may cancel your reservation at the last minute or decline your request on the day of the consultation if the content of the consultation is not eligible for support.
- If you cannot find the reservation confirmation email, please contact CAWK by e-mail. (Contact)
- You may only book one session at a time. Please make your next reservation after the tutorial. Multiple appointments for the same user will be deleted except for the most recent one. Only for using the Graduate (Humanities) students supports, you can reserve 2 session at a time.
- CANNOT make a reservation / have errors: Please contact the receptionist at the Center OR contact us. (Contact) *We’ll reply to e-mails only during office hours.
【② Pop-in Consultations(without reservations )】Available upon vacancy or cancellation.
- Please come to the center or Zoom* directly and ask to use it.
- Please check the reservation page OR X for last-minute availability.
- *Online Pop-in Consultations: If you have used the Center in the past, please use the Zoom URL in your previous reservation confirmation e-mail. Please inform the staff at the main room that you want to use online pop-in consultation.
【Open Hours】
- During the semester / 12:10-18:35 (Mon-Fri) *Excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
- The dates and times for reservations and availability differ for each support. Please check it from Reservation Page OR X.
【Day of use】
Location: Please join us at your convenience on the day of use before the time of your appointment from
① CAWK (Bldg.10, 1F, Room 103) 🔗MAP
- We highly recommend you to wear a non-woven mask and ask you to sanitize your hands before entering the center room.
- Please arrive at CAWK before your appointment time to confirm your name at the reception desk.
- Even if you come to CAWK, your tutor may join you online.
- Please don’t eat in the tutorial room.
② Online (Zoom)
- Please access the Zoom URL provided in your reservation confirmation email.
- After waiting for a while in the Zoom waiting room, you will be taken to the general reception (main room).
- Please give us your name. After confirming your reservation, you will meet with a tutor in the breakout room.
- You will be asked to show us your paper or assignment by sharing the screen. If you don’t know how to do it, please feel free to let us know.
What to Bring:
- Laptop (tablet) – Please have your assignment file open and ready on your device, so that your session can start immediately
- Earphones (headphones) – There is a possibility that your tutor may join you online, even if you come to CAWK.
- (Optional) Charging cable -If you wish to charge your laptop or tablet in CAWK.
Notes:
- We record the details of consultations in order to monitor usage. Please be assured that the record will not affect your grade evaluation. Also, faculty members will not check this record until the evaluation is complete.
- It is strictly forbidden for you to ask for tutors’ personal information (including such as email addresses).
【Cancel / Running Late】
- Need to CANCEL your reservation: please click the cancel URL provided in the reservation confirmation email as soon as possible, even if it is after the reserved time.
- Please avoid no-shows or last-minute cancellations. If you have a lot of sudden cancellations or sudden complaints, we may refuse you to use our service.
- Running late: the tutor is waiting to have a tutorial with you. Once you have made a reservation, please be sure to attend it. If possible, please contact us. (Contact)
- Even if you have not made much progress on your assignment, please feel free to come to the tutorial. You can receive advice from your tutor at any stage of your writing.
